    Establishment

    O.M.SA.®, Officina Meccanica Sala, was established in 1967 to make painting systems, drawing on the proprietors’ experience in general plant engineering. The company made its first washing machines and paint firing kilns for organic pre-treatment.

  • Subsequently

    First partnerships

    The company then established its first partnerships with other Italian enterprises and expanded into international markets. O.M.SA.® grew rapidly in the years immediately after its foundation, dedicating part of its production to fluid bed finishes for fencing and home appliances.

  • ’80s

    New location

    In the ’80s the company moved to new premises measuring more than 5,500 square metres in Besana Brianza, introducing anaphoresis and cataphoresis systems in its production plants.

  • ’90s

    Market leader

    In the ’90s O.M.SA.®  became a leader on the “zinc-flake” painting market for anti-corrosion protection of small metal parts of all kinds, serving the automobile and metalworking industries in Italy and abroad.

  • 2001

    New plants

    In 2001 the company acquired the technologies of the LAVEZZARI TECNOLOGIE, SIEMI and METCOM group, adding systems for steel mills to its already vast production

    Exports to 75 countries

    O.M.SA.® has now exported its systems to more than 75 countries, offering customers all over the world dedicated solutions to meet all their needs.
