The MAXICOAT e MINICOAT systems developed by O.M.SA. allow continuous coating of small pieces.
Our technologies permit elimination of most of the problems related to the coating of small metal components, such as:
- eliminating suspension points to produce an integral coating without any marks which can provide a starting point for corrosion and which would detract from aesthetic appearance,
- using semi-automatic or automatic high-speed integrated loading systems in production to cut labour costs,
- assuring near-constant coating thickness for every component.
The main fields of application of these technologies are:
- undergarment coatings: adjustors, buckles and clips
- automotive coatings: springs, clips, safety belt buckles and moving parts
- electrical industry coatings: ferrites, cable clips, clamps and brackets
- misc. applications: hooks, handles, hinges and nails
MAXICOAT permits coating of metallic items between 0.5 mm and 3 mm thick measuring approximately 200 x 50 x 50 mm. The thickness of the coating may be adjusted between 150 and 300 µm
